I've told some this story before... but it bares repeating...

A couple of years ago, I got home in the early hours of Sunday morning and all the parking spaces were taken in the car park behind my house.

The only spaces available that were on the main road which was only free before 8am.

I had no choice but to park there and intended to wake up at 7.30am to move the car.

But seeing as I got there at 3am in the morning, I overslept and ran out of the house at about 10am hoping and praying that there was no ticket...

It was worse, the lovely Lambeth council had towed away the vehicle and it was going to cost me £100 to get it back!

Not only that it was going to increase by £25 for every day that I didnt pick it up!

So I went into my house, sat down and began to think.

I wasn't working at the time and was only DJing at the time, it was Monday and my next booking was on Friday and Saturday, by which time the cost to get the car out would have doubled!

All the money I'd make from my previuos DJ bookings had already been assigned to pay for things or was already spent.

After about an hour, I came up with the idea that I had to borrow some money, double the money and get my car back and have enough to pay back what I had just borrowed.

THE PLAN

I knew someone who was looking for a PC, their budget was £200. I knew how to build and upgrade PC's so they were going to be my customer but I first had to get a PC that they would buy.

I hatched a plan, I'm so sure it was God speaking directly to me it was that amazing!

I needed £100 to buy a PC, then with some parts I had at my house from a previuos PC building project upgrade it, then sell it for £200, then get my car back and pay back the borrowed money.

I called the person looking for a PC to ask if they were able to buy it that day, they said yes! (miracle one).

I called my aunt to see if I could borrow £100 and pay it back in 24hrs, she said yes (miracle two). Then had to catch a bus to collect it... Yuck.

I then scoured the Loot newspaper, found a PC I could modify, called the seller, got him to deliver it to me and gave him  £100. 

I spent 1 hour 45 mins working on the PC, (fresh installation of windows, more RAM and something else - can't remember now) tested it fully. Then caught a bus to the customers house with the PC in two big bags... Again Yuck!

Got my £200! got my car out and drove straight to my aunt's house (12 hours early) to give her back her £100.

Then thought, hmmm I should have added a profit margin loooool.

Anywho, my 24 hour hustle rolled through seemlessly!

Thanks to God!

Now onto the next one...

Dear Emma,

You don’t know me. You’re not even aware of my existence, and you’ll never meet me. However, thanks to the power of the internet and the quick thinking of a young woman with a smartphone on the Croydon Tramlink last Sunday, I know of you. I’ve watched you repeatedly as you spat your racist venom all over a tram carriage full of non-whites, while your child sat on your lap.

We’re both 34, Emma. We both grew up in Britain and are both British. That’s where our common ground ends. You wouldn’t be able to tell what my background is from my face or accent, but I am one of the myriad people to whom you object so revoltingly strongly. My father is an immigrant. He’s lived, raised a family, educated his children, built a business and paid taxes in this country. He and his fellows are the backbone of this nation’s economy and culture; they are part of Britain’s history and her future.

Only you and your ilk are blind to this rather obvious fact.

Let me tell you a little bit about Britain, my dear.

Britain’s days as a colonial power ended long ago. Because Britannia so plundered and abused the countries that formed part of her ‘glorious’ empire, her subjects had no option but to come to Britain and build lives for themselves. Not only that, but Britain actively encouraged immigration to rebuild the country after a devastating war in which colonial subjects fought alongside white Britons. And not only that, but Britain has always been a racial melting pot. ALWAYS. You need only look at a history book to see that.

But someone like you won’t do that, will you? It’s far easier for you to remain ignorant and bigoted, to be fed outdated views that have been spoon-fed to you by other, equally ignorant and bigoted individuals. You have a distorted view of history, a perverse sense of your own racial superiority and your place in a modern society.

Forgive me for shattering your illusions, Emma, but “your Britain” doesn’t exist. It hasn’t existed for a long time, and her current survival is to be credited entirely to immigrants. All those jobs that you pass up because they’re ‘beneath’ you? They go to immigrants. The jobs to which you may aspire – though aspiration may be beyond you – will never be yours, because you’re simply too uneducated and ignorant to work in them. So you see people who aren’t the same colour as you making their way in life, while you sway drunkenly on a tram and berate them in the vilest of terms.

So now you’re on remand, charged with a racially aggravated public order offence. No doubt your cause will be championed by the National Front and the EDL. You’ll be a martyr in their eyes when you’re convicted, even if the sentence is little more than a fine. You’ll achieve a degree of fame within a very narrow circle, and notoriety in the wider community. You’ll be reviled, possibly attacked, and you’ll never find work with that kind of offence on your criminal record. Who wants to employ a convicted racist? Tell you what, luv, my dad certainly doesn’t.

What about your poor child? Using that kind of language around him is one disgusting thing; doing it in public is worse; and using it to express the hateful and hate-filled views that you espouse in public is utterly unacceptable. What kind of life are you giving him? And what life will he have once you’re convicted? Because believe you me, you certainly will be convicted.

We have laws against your actions, and laws against your views, precisely because they are unacceptable in a civilised, multicultural, multi-ethnic, multi-racial society. The law sanctions them because they cannot and will not be tolerated in Britain.

This is the Britain you live in, Emma. Welcome.

Some seasons in life ONLY feel like rainy season...

the rest is un-fulfilling and the cloud of your situation just follows you everywhere...

Why is so little talent, skill and excellence celebrated so much.

Only 20 years ago, musicians ACTUALLY had to know music, NOT just have a smart marketing strategy; for example 'Prince' can play Keyboard, guitar, drums and that's all I can remember right now!

Either way Kim Kardashian (with her hating sisters) has enough on her plate without having us follow her every move and following every tweet, its a waste of space...

I can almost guarantee, everybody that is so interested and so consumed with all the drama in her life earns less than a quarter of the Kardashians! ... I am almost sure its even less than £40k per year.

I say this because people who are actually concentrating on making successes of themselves haven't got time to focus on things like this, they might hear in passing but the mind space it takes up is too precious!

Go read a book by Zig Ziglar, do yourself (and the Kim Kardashian) some good, build yourself up, maybe even learn how to build and maintain a successful marriage, so no more of us end up making a mockery of something as special as marriage!

After all is said and done, the tweets wont stop for a while, and I wont lie some of the tweets are hilariuos, but by next week they're as good as forgotten.

This is a disaster. Seriously warn you against buying this.

I paid for a year for Briefcase as they give you a discount. They do a free trial but if you decide to keep and pay, it is more expensive then if you pay up front. Probably because they know most people won't pay after the free trial.

Basically, the software doesnt work on my PC. I can't upload using Filezilla either. I tried to install on my Mac and this didn't work either. Furthermore, the installer fails if I try to uninstall. The only way I can upload is one by one on the website but obviously this is not practical for a lot of files.

No-one responds to emails and no-one answers the phone. I have no way to contact this company and the software doesn't work. The website says they respond within 24 hours - this is a blatant lie - they don't respond at all. It has been over a week now since I first contacted customer support and all I have had is an automated response.

High risk of losing your money on this. I strongly advise to stay clear.

After a entrepreneurs seminar with David Shosanya on Sunday 9th October in which he said, "whatever your skillset is, get external validation"

I actually had to really press in and have just (by the skin of my teeth) made it onto a once full degree in Digital Video and Broadcast Production @ De'Montford University (DMU)... Just!

So after 10 years of running away from education I know voluntarily sign up lol!

Talk about divine favour, two people had to drop out of the course cos they couldn't get financing!

Anywho, I'm excited, one of the key things in becoming the best you can be is continual learning in as many forms as possible; be it reading and watching tutorials and journals or actually attending an education institution - Keep learning or what you know will become redundant!

This is vital with tech based industries, but its still important in any other field or industry.

Stay up to date, stay knowledgeable - there is no middle ground; you are either learning or becoming stupider (excuse the poor English).

Now, on a sillier note... "whens my student loan arriving, I wanna buy a Audi A6..."

Jesus has handed us the keys to power, and might AND fearlessness...

Wisdom states "courage isnt the absence of fear, its the taking action and walking out a thing REGARDLESS of the fear!"

my biggest concern is my biggest motivator...

The thing that concerns me the most is ME being the reason I fail...

in anything, anywhere and anytime.

I have identified that I am very reflective in all I do and like to evaluate situations after they've happened and have stepped into the realm where I predetermine to win and to do the best I possibly can in the best possible way.

Its bred a level of excellence in me that has taken me far and its a quality I try to replicate in the folks around me.

I have now begun a journey in my life to really find my limit of hard work and motivation, listening to self help audiobooks by renowned goals setting and motivation gurus like Brian Tracey, Dr Peter J Daniels, Norman Vincent Peale and a host of other names.

I am very close to finishing a book called 'Outliers' by Malcolm Gladwell, one of the statements made in there rings in my head all the time; "He who rises before dawn almost everyday, his family will never go hungry"

WOW! is all I had to say when I read that,

I have made the decision to do the hardest things... and fast... and take them head on!

I am my only and biggest competition, I compete against my last level of victory and excellence!

I refuse to settle for the last level of achievement when I know I can do a little bit more,

I can work a little bit smarter,

I can go a little bit harder,

I can learn a little bit more that makes me that little bit more excellent!

As I said, its a journey and to be honest nobody on this planet can do tomorrows learning today, its all gotta be done one day at a time.

We are a product of what goes through our minds and we can change the types of thoughts that go through our minds, so in essence - we are limitless!

I cannot fail... if I do that means I wasnt thinking right and didnt do what was necessary to ensure success!

I've learnt some really major things in terms of life and people of recent...

the very people you love and try to help and the very people who may well upset, offend and write you off!

Its a crazy one I know but the heart of the matter is not that it happens but how you deal with it!

One one hand you can actually get offended (and let the enemy win... and you and the people you are trying to help lose) or you can choose to actually continue in a walk of love and humility (and yes humility is a big one here... its pride that brings out the jack-ass in us sometimes, excuse the french,).

We ARE our brothers keepers and if we focus on being the best we can be to and for the people around us God is too faithful to let our lives be of waste.

Think of the lessons the offending person will learn in seeing you do that?

A scripture says "love those who hate you" - "by doing good to those who do you bad, you heap hot coals on their heads (conscience)"

When God asks you about how you treated His children, He already knows what they did what is in question is how you responded!

OCALA, Florida — An elderly Florida woman is accused of shooting at her neighbour's house in retaliation after he chose not to kiss her.
Helen Staudinger, 92, was arrested on Monday evening by police on a charge of discharging her gun at home.

WESH-TV reported that the incident happened after Staudinger visited the home of her neighbour, 53-year-old Dwight Bettner.
Bettner told police that his elderly neighbour mistakenly believes that he is "supposed to be her man", despite him already having a girlfriend.
He said that he told her to leave but that Staudinger responded that she would only leave if he kissed her. Bettner said that he angrily refused and told her to "get your [expletive] out my house."
She left and returned to her home, from where she fired shots at the house of Bettner. Four bullets struck the house, one of them missing Bettner by "mere inches."
He was unhurt.
